Follow Up Team

This is the most important team of all at Compassion SE. Volunteers working in this essential role on the day of the event will, through interpreters if necessary, facilitate an interview/survey designed to discover additional needs and/or set up a process for any needed follow up appointments. There will also be follow up opportunities after the event as well. The big idea here is ongoing relationships through helping guest with continuing health care needs, developing connections with area churches or social service agencies, or simply being a friend.
If you would enjoy any of these roles, select “Follow up” on your volunteer registration form. Also, please consider ongoing follow up. You will receive an email thanking you for registering to volunteer for Compassion SE and to establish communication with your team leader.
There is also an area on the registration form after the day of choice. A statement on the left side indicates this area. It reads: I would like to help build relationships with the guest after the event. If that statement expresses your desire, choose that also.
